So wwwwwwwwwaaaaaaayyyyy back in 2003, a little known band from Wilmington, Illinois released my favorite album ever. It was filled with hooks that reminded me of all the best parts of the pop-punk bands such as Saves the Day and New Found Glory that I loved, but had witty lyrics that reminded me of groups like Midtown and Lifetime (rip to both of them). That band was Fall Out Boy, and through the countless career missteps i've seen them take, they will always be that same band to me that got big off of playing basement shows. Regardless of whether you like them or not, anyone in the scene has to admire their work ethic. These guys go hard and honestly love their fans, two things many artists today are lacking. This is the new video for their single "I Don't Care" from their new album Folie a Deux in stores November 4th. The video contains cameos from Pharrell, Mark Hoppus from Blink-182 (the reason anybody in any of these bands plays music), Gabe from Midtown (he's currently sucking ass in Cobra Starship) and Tyga (no comment). It's no Chicago is So Two Years Ago, but it's still a decent track.
Oh and Linda, yes, those ARE scenesters in Supras.
BROWNSTONE.
